    • B'twin 300 mountain bike shorts

      Alistair (United Kingdom)
Used for 2 to 8 weeks
Good product for the price (£3.99 on sale). The material was quite squeaky & noisy on the saddle when first using them, but as they have been washed, this is gradually going. Plenty of pockets for stuff. Fit could be a bit better but as I said, good enough for the price.
      Plenty of pockets
      Squeaky material
    • Cheap but very practical

I bought therse shorts because they were reduced. No padding, but ideal to wear over cycle shorts or for short rides where pockets are useful or more walking involved.
      Lightweight, quick drying.
Bit bright for an old man!
    • Not sure if these are unisex or ladies

Bought a large pair and a medium pair. The medium are a reasonable fit, but tightest in the seat and the front. As a man I feel a little exposed in the front as they leave little to the imagination (my main reason for not buying Lycra was to avoid this) - still at least they hold everything out of harm's way.

The large area a lot less snug all around and the adjusting the elastic works quite well, but if you are walking around and have any weight in your pockets, a belt might be wise.

My waist is about 32" and I wouldn't normally by large shorts, definitely worth trying them on in store first.
      Response of the brand
Thanks for your question. They are men's shorts but they may feel a little wide as they fit better if worn with a padded undershort which is simply added with the aid of some buttons.: This version is ideal: http://www.decathlon.co.uk/500-mountain-bike-cycling-padded-undershorts-id_8304713.html

    • Blue cycle shorts.

      Col (United Kingdom)
Used for 2 to 8 weeks
The cycling shorts are worth the money , without a doubt, but I got a large size and they where so tight round the seat area and I am only a 33 waist. Their is no chance of putting padded shorts on under them.
      Good style excellent price.
      Far to tight
    • Good Value

Excellent value for money, pity they don't have a padded bum but make superb leisure shorts too. Material is nice, colour is nice and they are good to wear. Could do with a rear pocket or a second cargo pocket but apart from that cant fault them
      Comfortable for cycling or walking
